About US

This is a sample site built by 20/20 Software. In general, a site enables a user to search by keywords, vendors, categories, and image IDs. A user may place items in lightboxes, email lightboxes, and use a shopping cart or an order form to make a purchase. A site can have pages that allow users to upload and download images and files. A site can have just the basics, or multiple features such as a CD Store, an Image Thesaurus, Thumbnail Zoom, Advanced Lightboxes, Image Downloads with IPTC Information, etc.

There are basically two kinds of websites: a General Site and a Package Site. The difference is that a General Site can have just about any design, and a Package Site is created from one of three packages.

The three packages are Basic, Plus, and Custom. The functionality in the three packages are the same except that a Custom Site may include a Gallery Section that's referenced by most of the pages of the site. Also, the Custom Site stretches to fill the browser window whereas the other package sites are set for the screen resolution of 1024x768. The design of the Basic Package has a simpler look than the design of the Plus Package.

This site is an example of the Plus Package with the Advanced Lightbox Manager. A Package Site's colors can be different than what you see here.

Here are some screen shots of how the Package Sites will look if the screen resolution is 1280 x 1024:

Package Sites are cheaper to build than General Sites because there is very little cost in design. The design of the Menus, the Search GUIs, and the Lightbox GUIs in Package Sites are basically the same except for a few modifications. For General Sites, they could be just about anything.
